Though the time of endings is upon us, we must always look to a new beginning. We must consider the big picture in all that we do.

There is something greater than ourselves to be had in that, in the thought that we are such a small part of the universe and yet other worlds are so akin. Universal constants, if you will.

They spoke the words, they go through the motions, but do you believe that that is all loyalty is? True loyalty is based on devotion to a cause, not to a being.

You have stated that no one bothered to take away your position as king, a title you decided on for yourself with no lineage to support it.

You have done so. Ergo, you have instated a precedent for the decision of who is royalty being left to whoever decides to take it upon themselves.

Now that you are a commoner once again, you are beholden to the same tyranny you once imposed on others. By your logic, any and all have the right to do what they please to you simply because they are more powerful.
